i'm an artist.
i always have been.
somedays are harder than others,but either way,
it is not what i do, but who i am.
that's a hard thing to explain to some people.
having a mind that dances between function and folly, i have come to a place, that embraces what i have practiced, learned, watched and developed since i was a small child. these bodies of work tell that story. so i hope you see something that brings you back to some place,or that makes you think about someone...or that just makes you smile.

Ameri'ca is a Sculptural painter with a degree in Fiber arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Works range from large scale public commissions to intimate textile pieces. Working primarily in metal, Ameri'ca's art continues to evolve in a direction that weaves her aesthetic into materials that allow her to combine sculptural works with color and pattern.
